It was one of the best movies of Aamir Khan’s career and he was seen in a completely new look with a mustache on his face. The movie starred Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee in the lead roles. On the other hand, Rajkumarr Rao, Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the supporting role. Not only the story of the film was a hit but also all the songs were appreciated for the excellent music composition. Taalash movie started with the death of a movie actor in mysterious circumstances. Inspector Surjan Shekhawat was given the opportunity to investigate the murder mystery. He himself was dealing with the depression problem post the death of his son which took place when his son drowned in the water in his presence. Also, his married life was going through tough times when while handling the high profile case, he encountered a call girl, Rosie.  He saw a friend in Rosie and shared his feelings with her. Until he realised the truth, the inspector started enjoyed her company until one day when he came to know about Rosie’s reality and her past life. Till the end of the movie, he kept on considering Rosie a normal human being. Only at the end of the movie, Inspector Shekhawat comes to know about that Rosie is one of the call girls in Mumbai who was involved in the business of making people happy by offering physical pleasure to them in exchange of money. Also, he came to know about her detailed death during his stay with Rosie.

It was one of the nights when some people along with the deceased movie actor booked her for a night. They took her in their car but due to the car accident, Rosie got killed and all the friends, as well as the actor, left her to die alone. Then, it was the spirit of the call girl, Rosie, who was avenging her death by killing every one of her culprits. Inspector Shekhawat could understand her well even though he spent a lot of time with her while unraveling the mystery of the case. This has been presented in the movie, Talaash in an excellent manner which left everyone in a complete surprise.
