Uber is undoubtedly one of the successful cab services in the world. Due to its convenient service and affordable cost, people have shown an interest in the usage of this cab service. Denmark

In the year 2016, the Denmark government issued a new law to install fare meters and seat occupancy sensors on every cab service. But UBER didn’t follow the order and ended its service in the country. Also, after the Denmark government discovered that tax avoidance is being done on a large scale then it fined Uber drivers and banned it completely.

Hungary

Until 2016, Uber was one of the leading taxi services in Hungary. But due to the introduction of new regulations in 2016, the Hungarian government imposed a ban on the functioning of Uber as the latter refused to adhere to the new legal changes. Since the other taxi services adhered to the new regulations so they continued to carry out their operations in Hungary. As Uber failed to follow the new guidelines, so the Hungarian government banned the Uber app in the year 2016.

Bulgaria

Bulgaria’s Supreme Administrative Court in 2015 reacted to the criticism of the business practices of UBER. The drivers of the taxi service were driving the cabs without a taxi license. Hence, Bulgaria’s court suspended the license of the Uber taxi service in the country. So, now next time you visit Bulgaria, you will not find any Uber taxi on the roads.

China

Uber got banned in Chin due to some economic reasons. The country also banned many other US services. After the ban, the tax service faced a loss of $1 billion and hence its managers decided to end its service in China. Since its departure, the other popular taxi service, Didi Chuxing too over the market.
