Foxx Life Sciences has Made World’s First Glass Carboy

Laboratory products manufacturer, Foxx Life Sciences, has made the world’s first glass carboy which combines the quality of Borosil glassware with the company’s innovative user-focused design. Foxx has named it PUREGRIP® Glass Carboys. This new carboy offers a huge array of improvements to researchers of everyday experience.

The glass carboy contains visible graduation and a cap that changes the feeling of holding a vessel. This is the first time when a carboy with glass is made by any laboratory products manufacturer. This carboy is cheaper than a plastic carboy and available in 10L and 20L sizes.

PUREGRIP® Glass Carboys

This newest offering of Foxx is an exclusive North American collaboration with Borosil. It is the first-ever 83B glass carboy in the market. Foxx has included its patent VersaCap’s feature in the glass carboy. Platinum cured silicone O-ring ensures that this carboy is leak-proof. And the large handles with finger grip allows for easy handling and opening.

Versa Cap Technology

The glass carboys are made with Versa Cap technology. They feature 83mm polypropylene VersaCap. This cap has replaceable platinum cured silicone gaskets and it provides the ultimate source connection flexibility. Open VersaCap is compatible with many adaptor inserts that enable users to change the top of the carboy much easily for any application. Versa Cap technology in glass carboy offers large handles with finger grips and easy tightening and opening.

Allow Easy to Read Graduations

This is a transparent carboy that makes graduations easy to read. The glass carboy’s volume, metric graduations and retrace codes are clearly printed on the outside of the glass. Any solvent or liquid-filled in this carboy can be observed during the process. Readable graduations in the glass carboy allow users to know about the amount of liquid clearly with naked eyes.
