A school bus driver has been found guilty for molesting an 8-year-old girl in Dubai court. At the first instant, the Pakistani driver denied the charges against him. However, when the girl’s parents used school bus video camera recording as evidence, he could not save himself and accepted the charges against him. The sentence for his punishment is scheduled to pronounce on 27 January 2019.

The Arabian girl’s mother told her husband on 14 November 2018 about their daughter’s complaint about the driver for sexually harassing the girl. She also expressed how the abusive behavior of the driver bothered their girl. An 8-year-old girl complained her mother about driver’s raunchy intentions. She explained how the driver kissed her forcefully on her head as well as cheek. The girl also accused the man of grabbing her cheeks harshly.

One Government Official said in an Interview, “the Culture of prostitution is very common in Dubai in spite of all strictness the by the govt. It happens openly and people can hire escorts or call girls online through various portals like dubaicallgirls.me and there are many hotels well known in the city which are center for escort services.”

To seek solid evidence against the accused driver, the girl’s father checked the CCTV cameras installed in the school bus. He managed to find conclusive evidence to start legal proceedings in this matter. The girl’s father then lodged a complaint against the driver at Al Rashidiya police station on behalf of his daughter. The father mentioned how the driver abused and harassed her daughter. He said his daughter is afraid, quiet and mentally disturbed after the incident. Also, she refuses to go to school again to study. The prosecutor, in this case, has demanded the maximum possible penalty against the driver in Dubai court.

The CCTV footage clearly shows the driver sitting close to the girl and kissed her on her cheek as well as the head. It reveals he used to talk to her when she was left alone on the bus and grabbed her cheeks with cruelty.”We checked the CCTV camera installed inside the bus and it did capture the driver hugging and kissing our daughter,” the father confessed to the prosecutor.

Following the evidence of CCTV footage, the accused admitted the charges and the final ruling would take place on January 27.
